I installed a slightly improved version of the qwerty soft keyboard on the above. It had slightly larger keys, and certain were dual function (eg, the single/double quotation marks (' and ") were on one key, and one could select by simply choosing to 'capitalise' using the upstroke of the pen to use it). It was in fact a v good compromise as far as these keyboards went

I recently had to hard reset, and lost the keyboard--and cannot find from where it originated. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find it again? Have googled all over the place & cannot find it...Its NOT the one that appears if you go to Settings/Input/ and select the Large Keys option..

You may want to search for it at http://www.pocketgear.com/
Put in search term of keyboard may show the product you're looking for.

I found what the answer is

I restored the PDA to its pre-hard reset condition (using spb backup). In fact the soft keyboard I was searching for WAS the 'Large' version available if you go to Setting/Input; the dual function keys only appear if one selects the option to allow pen strokes to be recognised

The weird thing is that I am almost 100% sure I selected that option when I was fiddling around AFTER the hard reset, yet the dual function keys werent apparent. Maybe I made a mistake and didnt select it but I doubt it. For some reason, the pre hard reset restore solved the issue
