I have recently restored my 5mx after receiving it back from a broken screen cable repair. (See my post on "Broken Screen Cable with Positive Outcome", 29 Nov 02).

Psi Win did not restore from the last back up but from a somewhat earlier one. As a result there are apps and files that I want that are not restored and ones I no longer want that are present.

The problem is that I cannot delete the two that I don't want because they are not showing in the "Add/Remove" view.

Can anyone tell me how I can remove these apps please.

Can anyone tell me how I can remove these apps please. Delete their files in the path:

C:\System\Apps\(program name\

or, if it was on CF,

D:\System.....etc., but there may also be the same path on "C" drive with some files including the .INI file.

Thank you for your reply.

When I go to "System" there is no option for "Apps". It only lists the files that are open and only gives the option to close the file, not delete. One of the Apps I want to delete I cannot open because its trial period has elapsed.

In the System screen menus, "Tools > Preferences" make sure you have the box ticked for Show 'System' folder

If you now highlight the "System" folder and press Enter, you will see several sub-folders, one of which is "Apps".

Highlight "Apps" and press Enter. You should now see the folders for all applications installed in the machine. Delete only the folders with the same name as the applications you are trying to remove.

The files are now deleted.

Thank you
