Palm Desktop

I've recently bought a Treo 650 and as there was no disc, so I had to download desktop etc. from the Palm website. I now discover there is no media icon on the desktop, so i can't sync photos etc. Can anyone give me advice please?

Go to all programs from the start button, then go to PalmOne. In that folder there should be a file called "HotSync Manager". Click on that and when your hour glass goes away try to Sync your device.

flitir, that's not the problem--the downloaded version of Palm Desktop apparently doesn't have the Media conduit and desktop icon that the version on the Treo 650's CD has. Civrasien is able to HotSync the device, but can't synchronize the Media stuff.

Civrasien, have a look at the TreoCentral forums. They might have information regarding getting a Treo 650 CD.
