105 - Battery Replacement Problems

When I replace me battery in my 105, the unit "reboots" itself and starts at the beginning, as if I never used the thing. It asks me to tap the stylus, etc. and all of my data and apps are gone. I need to sync it with my desktop to get back all of my data and apps.

Has anyone experienced this before? And, if so, how can the problem be fixed?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Palm says you should have 1 min. to chage batterys but I have seen countless posts to the same effect as yours, here are a few
