Hello,

I have a tungsten e2 that had cracked screen. It was only 3 weeks old. I thought it a little steep to pay the price of a new pda to have palm replace the screen. Since it wasn't covered by warranty, I got a used pda and removed the screen from it.
The only problem is that now my e2 doesn't seem to turn on. The only thing I'm not sure of where it went is a little clip that fell out of the case. Has this got anything to do with it not turning on? Other than the cracked screen, it worked fine when I took it apart.
I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on how to get it working without buying another one.

thank you,

Automatic

Update,

I got it working, but it has what I would describe as "flicker bars" that run horizontally across the screen. They are bad enough that it is sometimes difficult or impossible to read the writing in places. Is it maybe a bad screen, or just a connection?
