Hi. I was just wondering if it is possible to make and receive calls using the ipaqs
loudspeaker and microphone. Ive got my ipaq (rx5720) and my n73 paired up so i can use the internet and i can tell the phone to dial a number via bluetooth but i still have to use the phone to talk. Any ideas?

As far as I know, no you cannot make phone call from iPAQ, only using the phone as a modem for data excess. But I think you can use internet voip phone such as Skype.

I see you paired your ipaq and n73, and can then access the internet. I have a ipaq 3970 that i have paired with a E61i, but i cannot get a internet connection on the ipaq. please help.

Here's a guide

You may have to contact your mobile provider for the correct number to dial.

My bluetooth manager screen does not have a "new" and therefore does not provide a connection wizard. The ipaq uses pocket pc 2002.

I have configured a connection, but receives an error "There is no answer at the number dialed"

You may want to upgrade your iPAQ to ppc2003. HP is no longer selling it but you can still find it on ebay.

I have upgraded to ppc2003 and used the guide to setup the modem. Now, when I connect, I get a network log on screen prompting me for a username, password and domain. If I just click OK, it dials and goes back to the same screen. I then receive an error stating that it cannot connect for an unknown reason, also "the connection failed and cannot be reestablished"

What mobile provider are you using? You may need to subscribe to their data service and you will need correct number to dial to access data service.
