How to make a button play a sound

I have a .wav file that I would like to play when I push one of my hot keys. Is there a way to set this up with a shortcut or something? Do I need another program to be running to enable this?

I really have no idea.

The only suggestion I can make is to create a ppc executable that runs the wav file you choose. Then you can assign that program to the button of your choice using Settings, Buttons.

You might call that wav file something like "xxx1.wav" so that you can change the sound by copying a new wav file to "xxx1.wav."
