Hi..!!!!

I have a 128MB SD card from SanDisk...

I readed that SD is very much faster than memory stick...

buy when I write data to my SD using my iPaq 3835 its very slow... by example, tranfering an MP3 about 5MB to my Storage Card, from my computer to my SD inserted on my iPaq using Active Sync Explorer, its about 65 seconds... is that normal??? or I have a defective SD card???

I also have a sony digital camera (u10) with 128MB memory stick. and I see it like a drive unit in my PC, when I transfer the same 5MB file, its about 15 sec.

Both conecctions are via USB....

WHY MY SD IS SLOWER THAN MY MEMORYSTICK????

Thanks...

Activesync is slow for transferring large files. You are better off getting a usb card reader, it will be much faster.

I use a card reader also. I loaded over 200 Megs of mp3 files last night in a bit over a minute.

The card readers are cheap and they will save you battery power... especially as you get more devices that use the memory card. My camera uses a memory card and it saves a bunch on the battery to use a card reader.
