iQue 3600 won't start back up after reset

I just got a refurbished iQue 3600 for my birthday, and I'm experiencing issues. I perform the initial install of software and things like that via HotSync, and when the screen prompts me to tap the reset button, I comply. However, it never starts back up after that. If I leave it alone for several hours off of it's cradle, and then put it back on the cradle, it starts back up again and shows that it's charging.

I've tried the soft reset, and the hard reset, but I get the same result, the "Palm Powered" screen flashes on for only an instant and then fades away. I put it on it's cradle, and it doesn't turn on or charge.

I've let it fully charge before I do anything, and the same result occurs. Any advice or thoughts?

Can you try hard resetting it with the power connected, via the power cable. It's possible the battery is bad.

I tried that, too. I had the same thoughts about a bad battery. But the seller is now saying I can send it back to them, and they'll replace the unit altogether.
