Believe it or not, I'm still using my Visor Pro. Have had it for 4 years and it has been great.
Lately, though, there has been a problem where the "Find" function keeps popping up all by itself on the screen. It doesn't matter what program is running at the time or whether I'm reading or writing or simply navigating. Boom, up pops the Find screen. Often the computer will hang in this mode for a minute or so before I can successfuly tap Cancel to get out of it, only to have it pop up again two or three more times before it settles down enough for me to do some real work.
I've done lots of soft resets, then performed a hard reset and restored my data. No luck. I've also deleted a number of programs I no longer use, again to no avail.
I do still have Hackmaster installed because one of my favorite programs over the years is JulianDA which allows me to calculate how many days between dates, but the computer was working fine with that program for three years.
Just wondering if anyone a) still visits this forum, and b) might have any ideas as to what might be causing this problem.
Many thanks.
