Zire 31 will not turn on

I have had my Zire 31 for about 3 years and have had no problems with it until recently. I down loaded an Busker MP3 player program for Palm OS 5.x the other day. I played a few songs on it and let it sit for 2 days. Now it will not turn on. I did the soft reset and hard reset. It powers on for about 3-5 secs. Nothing that I have tried or have read on the subject has helped. I even took the back cover off and checked the battery. It tested good. I am open to any new suggestions.

In those three-to-five seconds, what happens? What do you see on the screen? I know you tested the battery, but have you tried charging it anyway?

It goes to the alignment page. If I skip that and the clock set page, it goes to the main screen with all of the icons. The battery meter at the top is at full. That is all I have time to do then it shuts off.

Also I have tired to recharge it.
