I have an IPAQ HW6955. When I go to the Buttons setting there is the only the following that shows up:
Button 1 - Photosmart
Button 1 - Press and Hold - Record
Now I've found various programs that can map porgrams/macros to buttons but none of them actually put more buttons into the Buttons setting so that you can assign the programs/macros to various hardware buttons. I've also read the review by Jmckie on this site reviewing four button launchers but it doesn't address the basic issue - how do I get my other hardware buttons to show up in the Buttons settings so I can assign them to programs. What would be ideal would be something that would allow me to create the equivalent of the function keys on regular keyboards - perhaps by holding down pairs of keys e.g. the lockshift key + the 7 key that would run a macro for instance.
