Battery change on NR70V

I am the proud owner of a NR70V and really happy of the choice I made. Nothing wrong to say except, may be, the plastic used for the screen which is a bit too mirror-like when you are outdoors on a bright day ! But may be the extra protection sold separately will do.

Question is: battery is internal, no problem there, but battery is not forever unfortunately. Does anybody know:

1. Is it possible to do that myself if necessary
2. Is there a "standard" type of battery inside
3. Can it be bought in any store or is it typical SONY ?

I have no problem at the moment but I am just preparing the future ! I also intend to buy the connection extra kit with classic dry batteries for extra energy. Thanks.

I would like more info on the "connection extra kit with classic dry batteries for extra energy"...I've never seen these. Where can you get them and how much do they cost?

A must have especially for long trips or other occasions without any power supply around !!!
