Do you mean the browser's cache of web pages and graphics files, or do you mean the 'History' window contents? Either way, you cannot modify how long they keep a memory of visited pages - the cache stores a file until the space used is needed for a newer file, and the History window seems to have a fixed 'memory length' as it were. nigelp 12-10-2002, 05:13 AM History window content. diem 12-10-2002, 05:27 AM mmm, I see why you're asking. Mine shows all the pages I've been to since installing the OS back in June! I've done a bit of poking around with RMRText, and it seems that the history is stored in C:\System\Apps\Opera\Global.dat. It is safe to just delete this file to clear the history; the file is re-written if it does not exist when Opera is closed. Haven't found a way to control its length though.. nigelp 12-10-2002, 11:02 AM Thanks. why does it put this file on the C: when the actual application is installed on D:, a number of the files appear to be the same on both C: and D:? IT worked but was curious thats all? PDA Street
