MC218 questions?

Does the MC218 connect to the PC in exactly the same way as the 5mx through the serial lead and psiwin. Will all applications on a CF card put in the MC218 work also? Reason I ask is i have seen a MC218 for sale and want to use as a second 5mx? Nigel:p

I have a MC218 and I have been using PsiWin 2.3.3 with connection cables and a POD docking station - all designed for the 5mx - all with no problems.

So, Yes, a MC218 connects exactly the same way (hardware and software) as a 5mx.

I also have a 128M CF card filled with applications - all work fine.
