Strange clicking noise

Today I took delivery of a nice Series 7 machine, and I'm very pleased with it. There is one minor quirk I've noticed with it, however. Any sound it plays - be it an alarm or an in-game sound - terminates in a noticeable click. The sounds themselves play fine, apart from the click at the end. Is there anything that can be done about this?

There were clicks reported when reading sound files from compact flash, though that is noticeable through out the recording not just at the end, Try installing sound files on C: and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks, Colin. On first reading this I thought "that'll be it", as it's my habit to install all applications on Flash. But then I remembered that the ROM-based alarm sounds have the click, too. I'll try the experiment just to see if loading sounds from C: makes a difference.
