I have a seemingly daunting problem.
At home, I have an exchange server for personal mail, calendar, contacts and tasks. This will be going away soon because my home business is being acquired.
At work, we use GMail (Google's hosted solution) for email. They don't have a central calendaring/task/contacts system. Since the Google web interface sucks so bad, I POP it to Outlook on my work computer.
I have a SmartPhone, a work desktop, a home desktop and a laptop which I bring back and forth between work and home and on both personal and business trips. [Sometimes I can get away with only the SmartPhone on trips.]
I have a huge problem with managing my Outlook. I want a centrally managed solution for work email, personal email and ONE copy of my calendar, tasks, contacts and tasks. I don't even know where to begin because my work refuses to support exchange and my own personal exchange is soon to be no more when the acquisition is complete. I also want the SmartPhone to be able to connect to a server to update itself every 5 to 10 minutes or so.
Does anyone have any ideas to save me from my headache?
