I got it off ebay so im not certain.. pixel 12-11-2002, 04:59 AM Hi the older one's had problems with the Batt also some of the newer ones also like the 37xx and even the 38xx you could sent it back to Compaq/HP to replace it. Not sure how much it would cost. I am sure it does not cost as much in the US as it would here in Ireland or the UK. I'm in canada and it's not really worth it for me to order a new battery with exhange and shipping and all. I've called Compaq about it, but they charge $30 (cdn) just for shipping and to have a tech look at it.
