HI Garmin Gurus,

Did you guys installed Garmin iQUE 3600 new upgrade ver6 successfully? I tried but the iQue screen blank and did not work for few hours. Luckuly after few resets it started working. After that never tried.

And I have the following questions as well.

In case if the palm crashes, looks we need to send to Garmin for installation of software..what is the charge for this process?

I upgraded from version 4 to 6 with no problems. I think there are some issues upgrading from version 3.

I also had no problems with the update.
It corrected problems with CityNavigator Europe v9 as stated.

I just tried the upgrade, and looks like I have a brick!
Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I know with Dell Axims (running windows mobile) there is a fix to reload the OS from an SD card, I was hoping to find something like that to get my GPS running again.

I have a iQue 3600.

OK, in trying to redo the resets, I did another hard reset, as I thought I had done a few already. But, Instead of pressing the side scroll wheel to get the up selection to complete the hard reset, I clicked the up button below the screen. This is how the hard reset really works. So, the other hard resets were just soft resets. After I did this, the Palm OS came up, and I was able to do the upgrade correctly this time.
All is well, and the GPS is just fine.
