Rhis is a prototype, not released Psion Revo CONAN.
Bluetooth was not sure to be working.
Great item for a Psioncollector (like myself).

Hey, did anybody else notice that even that Revo was having battery problems? No red-light charging to be found, and in one of pics, 70% battery showing but still screaming Recharge!

Can you imagine what chaos a backlight would cause to the already problematic battery system?

Hadn't thought of that angle until you mentioned it, but yes, a backlight would have to expand the nightmare exponentially.

I'm still not convinced about the value of the backlight anyway. In suboptimal lighting conditions, my Revo screen with its reflective backing is much easier to read than the 5mx. The 5mx backlight doesn't always help. I read somewhere, possibly on here, that someone with a dead 5/5mx backlight had successfully replaced it with a reflective backing, with good results.

I only own a Mako and a Series 5, but if a Series 5 is any comparison to a 5mx, the only time the Series 5's screen was worth anything was during dusk. Interesting hack, that reflective screen switch--the things people can do...
