Zire 72 & Vista

Hi Guys
I have a question regarding synching my Zire 72 with my laptop with Vista in it.
According to Palm website, I have to install Palm Desktop v4.1.4e, which I did, but still doesnt work.
Any advice to solve this problem ?
OR
If this just simply wont work, is there any way/idea about how to back up anything in my Zire 72 somehere ? (Appointment, Contact, Task, Calendar, etc).

it should work- it works for me on VISTA Ultimate edtion - I'd check the user account settings on VISTA - perhaps try right clicking on the desktop icon and 'run as administrator'

If you have 64 bit Vista it won't work regardless.
