I have a Psion 7 in nice condition for sale. I purchased it new in 2000 and have taken good care of it. The screen and case are in good shape and the pen mechanism works.

The Psion 7 is a 1 kg/2 lb instant-on EPOC laptop with colour touchscreen, excellent virtually full-size keyboard and built-in PIM, word processing, spreadsheet, database and email software applications. This was a high-end powerful EPOC device; biggerthan a palmtop and smaller than a laptop with a VGA screen, PCMCIA slot, Compact Flash slot and stylus. There are lots of web sites where you can find out more about the Psion 7 (try http://newth.net/psion7/index.html); if you aren't already a Psion user or fan this may not be the device for you since it isn't a Windows laptop.

It comes with the box and all original documentation, the 16 Mb memory upgrade DIMM, 256 MB Compact Flash drive, Psion GoldCard modem and cable, two rechargeable battery packs (both hold a charge just fine), a leather case, the UK power supply and a US power supply. The PC connection cable and original CD-ROM software disk are included. Also includes optional software -- the excellent Collins Cobuild dictionary, Psion Money, and Purple Software's Reversi.

I'm located in Ottawa, Canada and am asking $US 500 plus shipping. If interested, please check on ebay over the next week or two.

This was one of the last units manufactured, and features the higher-power motherboard that can be upgraded to a netbook chip. I will be selling seperately a Netbook upgrade consisting of the Netbook ROM, Operating System installed on a bootable Compact Flash and Lucent Wi-Fi card. I have installed this upgarde and used it for about a year -- aside from running faster, the operating system incldues the Opera browser, Wi-Fi support and Ethernet (LAN card required) support. Note that drivers for only a few models of Wi-Fi and Ethernet cards are available, so you can't plug in just any card. The Lucent Wi-Fi card is one that works.

I am asking $US 100 for the netbook upgrade, also to be sold on ebay.

Happy New Year, Psion enthusiasts!
