having trouble lately with syncing my windowsmobile device.
It makes a connection via USB and that works ok since i can browse the MDA from my desktop PC. But in won't sync the calendar, contacts, etc.
When it connects the syncing seems to stop and the MDA displays 'waiting for network'
I already tried the following:
- hard reset on the MDA
- reinstalled Mcafee 2007
- reinstalled active sync (using 4.5 latest verion btw)
- disabled the firewall completely to ensure succes on first sync.
- Also gave full permission to the four files active sync uses
- opened every port that active sync uses according to www.microsoft.com
- tried syncing only task since active sync might having trouble syncing large amounts on first sync.
- removing the account on outlook and clearing all info.

can't think of anything else and the darn thing still won't sync.
does anyone have a clue what is wrong?

using:
windows XP Home SP2
active sync 4.5
windows mobile 2003
outlook 2007
mcafee 2007
