Internet browsing on HTC P3300

I am trying to access some internet sites but they can not open on the device saying - it require internet explorer 6 or later.

What shall I do is there any equivalant browser?

You can tweak pocket internet explorer to send out same user agent id as desktop. See

If it is actually an issue of lack of support for site functions, a change of self-identification information may not be enough. You can try Opera Mobile or NetFront browsers (both commercial apps that have free trial versions). Or you can try the free Opera Mini browser which you will need to run through your midlet manager. All of these have funtionality not included in the WM built-in version of IE.
