I have an HTC P3600 running Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It has just stopped letting me access Messaging. I cannot access Messaging either by tapping Today screen or via list in Start Menu. I have soft reset several times but do not want to do a hard reset unless absolutely necessary as my PDA has some Phone Carrier specific software that will not reload with a hard reset. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have an HTC Touch Cruise running Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Also, it has just stopped letting me access Messaging. I cannot access Messaging either by tapping Today screen, Start Menu or File Browse. I also have soft reset several times and cleaning temp files. Nothing is working. Please help us!

Can you tell me which Build of WM are you using? If you go to Start->Settings->About, you should see the build number which should look like:
CE OS 5.1.xxxxx(Build xxxxx.x.x.x).

Also could you elaborate a bit on what exactly do you see when you try to access Messaging? Does it spew out an error of somekind or just doesnt do anything. Also, is this for SMS or for Email accounts?

Whilst syncing I get a support error code of 80004005.

Phone: AT&T Tilt (HTC)
Windows Mobile 6 Pro
CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
Processor: MSM7200-400MHZ

Also I have another problem. I am not able to get to messaging, emails, etc.
When touching the buttons nothing happens, neither through the start screen nor on the home screen.

That's an Outlook error, you can try to do Outlook repair, run scanpst.exe from the commandline on your desktop.
And try soft reset the device to fix the 2nd issue.
