Battery Maintenance

I just want to know if there is a suggested battery maintenance procedure for m505. For example in Lap Tops they suggest draining the battery complately every six months and then re charging it.

I am charging my m505 every day for a few minutes. Hope this is not harmful to my battery.

You are doing the right thing for the Li-Ion battery in your m505. Li-Ion have no memory effect and should not be deep discharged. Thus, charge as often as convenient.

Certain laptops have NiMH batteries which need occasional deep discharge to clear the memory effect. That was an improvement over NiCd batteries which needed deep discharge every time to avoid the memory effect.

I am very particular too, esp. about batteries. Seems to be working - the NiCd in my shaver has been going strong for 11 years!
