My treo 600 was stolen and I thought great I'll just drag my 270 out of storage for now.
Treo 270 is working great except for one thing.
It doesn't seem able to make any phone calls. It is an unlocked device and neither SIM chip works.
When I put in the sim chip it searches for a network (for minutes) and then gives up and I get a no service message.
I've tried the radio reset utility from Palm- no change :(
This machine is GPRS not GSM.
I hate to send this to the landfill- I'm open to any clever creative solutions that anyone might have.
