You all see me very very sad. I've migrated from Windows to a Mac and I have only 1 problem = Palm OS. http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif

How is it possible for Palm to produce such utter rubbish for a Mac when the Windows version is 1000% better?
My Calendar which I printed out and used every day doesn't exist in the Mac version, I get an events and appointments list on one page and attachments on another. I have no say in the way the Contacts are sorted (Christian or Surname) ..... I can't add a note to an appointment = it simply doesn't exist. I have to go into "find" and type a name to find an entry and even then the entry doesn't come up, just a little mask which requires a juggling act to bring the notes up. I have to scroll down through the list to find the entry.
For the moment I'll be keeping a Windows notebook running just for the Palm! Thank heavens the Palm itself hasn't gone down the drain with this OS!
Is there another OS for Mac which resembles the Windows version or must I look around for another hand held?

Is the Palm Forum a Chinese Govt. type of setup? If you smile and say that everything is marvelous all is well... if you're really having problems and say so you're considered a trouble maker and get no help?

The Palm itself is OK but the Mac Version of the software is creating so much extra work I'm starting to look around for what I can transfer to.
My problems continue.
>> Why can't I sort addresses the way I want to by Surname?
>> Why is there no setting for the 24 hours clock ?
>>Why must I put up with the tiny zones on little menus for telephone nos., email etc which don't necessarily correspond to foreign requirements ?
>> Why can't I use the comments on the contacts as I did under Windows?
>> After using the Windows version I can only say that I have never seen such a useless collection of what seems to me to be American style setups.
Please understand I'm not anti-American but we don't all live and work in the same way. I would like to continue to use the Palm which I find useful but there must be a better laptop version than what you have produced for the Mac.

Garoolgan,

Google Parallels for Mac, its Windows on your Mac... great product best of both worlds and it will solve you Palm problems by allowing you to run in Windows.
