I still am using the City Select maps on my iQue. Now some of the streets are out of date.
What should I do? Buy a nuvi with up to date maps or buy City Navigator DVD? In truth I only using the guidance ability of the iQue as it is in my son's car and he is not interested in other functions
Thanks

If you're really not using any other functions of the iQue other than the GPS I would just get a dedicated new GPS unit. IMHO spending money on an old unit does not make sense for you and the newer Nuvis have a much better receiver. You can sell your iQue to someone who needs the extra functions.

While Adam is quite correct (I largely use my Nuvi now for navigation and it's much better than the iQue), you can use City Navigator maps on the iQue. I have North America and Europe 2008 maps on mine. Just don't get the "NT" maps as those won't work.
The software on the iQue units isn't able to understand all of the features of the current maps. For example, there's a road here in DC, Interstate 66. During certain times of the day, in certain directions, it's a high-occupancy only road. My iQue won't route over it and will try to redirect me off of it even when it's not restricted; I have to tell the iQue to use "bus" routing preferences before it'll use that road. Yet another reason to consider retiring your Betty for a newer model.
