Infra Red Psion Revo & Series 7/ netbook

Hi
Could you tell me if the psion revo and series 7 will talk to one another via Infra Red. From what i have read the contacts program has changed and maybe i would not be able to syncronise that, but would i be able to transfer files to and from either psion??

I have never heard of any problems transferring files between any ER5 machines using IR - Revo, 5mx, S7 or netBook.

I find that I hardly ever hook up my Revo to the PC - I'm just too lazy to switch the cables - so anything the Revo has it receives beamed from the netBook. I never encountered a problem.

Howzit - there is a piece of software called "Epoc Synch" that can do file level (unfortunately not field level) synching between two epoc devices.

This works great, except for the fact that if you make changes on both devices you are in a bit of a situation. I found it never really worked for me (had a seven and a revo) so I sold the revo and just carry around the seven all the time.

Otherwise, you can synch them both with outlook, and that should work fine.
