PsiWin 2.3.3 and Series 3mx

Hi,

I use both a 3mx (prefer the agenda data entry) and a Revo and use PsiWin 1.1 and 2.3.3 for each machine respectively.
I have to buy a new PC and realising that Vista probably won't work with PsiWin 1.1 (unless anyone knows different?) I need to ensure PsiWin 2.3.3 will work. (I will be buying a Vista box with a real serial port).
I have read on the forums that PsiWin 2.3.3 works on Vista but my concern is ensuring it works with a 3mx.

I have tried my Series 3mx with PsiWin 2.3.3 on my 98SE box and my XP laptop and whilst PsiWin connects and can see the Series 3mx, as soon as I try to back-up I get the error message "There was an application problem because access is denied".
Any help would be appreciated, otherwise I may just have to buy a new PC with XP!

I work here at home with XP SP2 and PsiWin 2.3.3 and SIBO and EPOC Psions.
And it works fine.
