I wasn't sure if I should post this in the Windows Mobile or PalmOS section.

Ok, first of all, I have several PCs, all on the same network, most of which run Windows, I also have a Windows Mobile 6 PDA and PalmOS 4.1 PDA.

1. Is there any way to sync these devices together(at the very least, their contacts)? Preferably through outlook?

E.G. Can I plug in my WM6 device, and have it sync it's contacts with outlook, then plug in my PalmOS device and then have that sync its contacts with outlook, including adding any contacts my Windows Moibile device added?

2. Is it possible to keep the Synchronized information in outlook also synced throughout all pcs on my network with outlook on them? What about if they run different versions of outlook and windows?

3. Obviously, I won't be able to sync bookmarked sites, files, etc between PalmOS and Windows Mobile, but is it possible to also keep the files for each device, not just the contacts, synced between different computers on the network?

Basically, I sync my Windows Mobile device, and any information other than contacts it synced (bookmarks, files, etc) it also syncs with active sync (or whatever sync app you would recommend) on all other configured Windows computers on my network.

On the WM side, all you need to do is to install Activesync if you are on XP or Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista. Both can be downloaded free from MS. It will provide sync to Outlook 2003 or newer. Each WM device can sync with up to 2 desktops, for e-mail only from the main partnership.

For Palm, you will need 3rd party commercial software such as Pocket Mirror to sync with Outlook.

Just stumbled on this question. Sorry didn't catch it sooner. And sorry to toot my own horn. Our software should be able to help you out. Its a free application called Dashwire, and it allows you to sync all of your content onto the web. Because of this you can switch between desktops and mobile devices pretty easily. The transfer of data only takes one click. Hope this helps...
