Heilsa!

I was given a Hitachi SH-G1000 Pocket PC that the owner couldn't even get to come on anymore. I have been able to get it to come on by not just using the reset on the back, but looked online, and found out how to initialize it again. It now comes on but Windows won't power up. All it has is an image and the Sprint logo and copyright at the top of the screen and the Hitachi name at the bottom.

None of the features, buttons etc... work! It's just on! I hit the reset in the back again the other day and it totally shutdown and wouldn't come back on. So I left it off and unplugged for a couple of days and plugged it back in and it is on again but still no operating system and nothing working.

Does someone know what to do to get this thing going? This is a neat device and I would like to use it.

Oh yeah!
I have exhausted all known to me Hitachi resources and support that I could find. They finally told me that they made it for Sprint and that I need to take it up with them.
I have tried numerous Sprint phone numbers etc.. to no avail. I have checked out Sprint.com and they don't even have these listed anymore. I know they are old but someone somewhere has to have the skinny on these things.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions that may be provided!

Try hard reset it;
Take the battery out, slide the switch (to the right of the battery) up, wait a little bit then slide the switch back down and replace the battery.

AnswerDude, I thought I already did that. I did but I called initialization as that is what the PDF user's guide called it. Have done it several times. I should have explained better. I also have some more info. as I plugged it into my PC to see if my Windows would register new device and nothing happened nothing at all.
