Backup

Hi

Anybody know of a good backup program that will run on a Nokia 7610? I would prefer freeware but will consider payware if the program is really good.

I'm after the same for my E65, after I put it in for repair recently - they wiped it, and I discovered that it wouldn't restore the backup on the memory card.

Oh, and the backup on the PC turned out to be from just before I updated the firmware, and restoring that version gave me a dead phone! Thankfully I managed to resurrect it, but then had to restore all my preferences and settings by hand.

So yes, can anyone please recommend a comprehensive backup solution for Series 60?!

Hi

The backup will only be restored from the card if it is called "E:\System\Backup.arc". To keep several backups, I rename the file created by the backup process to something different to Backup.arc. If I want to restore, I first rename whatever backup file I want to Backup.arc and then start the restore process.

This is a far cry from a decent backup program but it does the job.

Sorry. The backup file is actually called "E:\Backup\Backuo.arc".
