TX soft-resets instead of syncing

I've had my TX a year with no significant problems. Multiple hotsyncs in past year without issue.
Today when I try to hotsync the unit does a soft reset instead of syncing. Settings are all fine. My wife's TX syncs fine.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try a hard reset. You'll lose all the data you entered since the last sync, but it should restore it.
