I think i may have found out a way to perserve user data on a m125 that when the batteries is changed - forces one to hard reset the device to get it back up and running...
:::
Before We Begin:
1.) I had some paper stuck in between the plastic and connectors :) as to keep the batteries in position just in case..oh! alright i was trying to no have to hard reset the device and tried it out..
2.) I used alkaline batteries for the test as I had to hard reset due to my rechargeables were almost out and i had to put some in the charger of which i didn't do...so hmmm
...
Okay - fairly simple:
A: Turn on the unit - yes u heard me turn the unit ON
B: Flip the unit over
C: Take out the top battery first and replace it as fast as you can with the newer one and make sure it is in before doing the next step...
D: now do the bottom battery...
Result: If all goes well, u'll see the palm logo and then it should show the prefs screen of which you've successfully saved all ur user data. :)
