Has anybody successfully installed nconvert in Emulator?

My installation tells me it's been "successful," but when I click on nconvert icons or the app itself, I get a "not found" error.

I went to neuon's site, found and installed "ER5 OPL SDK Standard Library Files" (\epoc32\release\wins\deb\estlib.dll; \epoc32\release\wins\deb\estw32.dll; \epoc32\release\wins\rel\estlib.dll; \epoc32\release\wins\rel\estw32.dll) but that doesn't help.

My searching finds a reference about a specific nconvert for Emulator, but I haven't tracked it down.

Any ideas?

Jake

I take it it's the WINS version of nConvert that you have? If not, it's not going to work on the emulator no matter what other libraries are installed. The fact that it installed without error doesn't mean anything (I often install ARM binaries on the emulator just to get at the documentation).

Only OPL programs work in both emulator and on real hardware, and I don't think nConvert is OPL.

Hi, snigfarp--

No, I don't have the WINS version of nconvert. I've heard of its rumors, but haven't found a download link. Could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Jake

You're further on in the search than I am, I'm afraid, as I hadn't even heard of the WINS version before you mentioned it.

Rats. I found an old post in another forum by Phil Aypee who mentioned a WINS version, but he didn't say he was actually running it. Certainly, it isn't on the neuon site.
