I'm getting confusing information and I hope someone can give me authoritative answers. I'm considering buying an unlocked HTC Touch Pro. The specs say that its HSDPA/WCDMA: bands are 900/2100 MHz. I have a T-Mobile subscription, and the T-Mobile customer service says that its 3G services will work on either 1700 or 2100. However, I spoke to two vendors of the device in the US and both of them at first said that the device won't do 3G in the US on the T-Mobile network. The vendors won't take the device back without an exorbitant restocking fee, so I'm reluctant to buy it based on one T-Mobile customer rep's word. Will the device actually do T-Moble 3G in the US? Thanks for any heads up.
