Blackberry has a keyboard I think iPhones are better for consumers or small business owners, and bbs are better for larger business folks or people who will be using the pda primarily for business. For example, email is sluggish on the iphone (via IMAP or web-based) whereas the blackberry allows for more seamless email integration. I chose the bb due to my needs, but I also admit that the iPhone is quite an impressive machine. typethree 12-13-2008, 08:57 AM Thanks for taking the time to write it. mpg187 01-23-2009, 10:06 PM Neither, Windows Mobile is the best. It does everything a blackberry can do +more wundi42 06-22-2009, 10:36 PM I have an iphone, very awsome, love it. novaking 07-23-2009, 02:37 AM iphone has a touch screen, for one. Sima Maggie 11-10-2009, 05:04 PM since the blackberry is a quad band phone, you shouldn't have any problems with it in India - that's why blackberry's are used by business professionals around the world. Just make sure the device is unlocked so that you can put other company sim cards. kamila 05-13-2010, 06:19 AM both have similar activities but some where bbs have some more excellent features ApetDiubon 12-14-2011, 03:48 AM Hi everyone Is it me or have Apple iPhones gone down in popularity and at the same time Blackberry Phones have gone up in popularity. I currently have one of each and personally love them both as they have different pros and cons. If you were to choose which would it be? ApetDiubon 12-18-2011, 01:21 AM Ive had iPhones since they launched.... and have had several problems with them crashing/dying on me. That being said, the UI and apps, they keep it up and Ill be an iPhone user for life. ApetDiubon 12-21-2011, 09:36 AM Im about to order my iPhone but I wanted to know if anyone can help me figure out this dilemma. I need to figure out how to get all my contacts from my Blackberry to my iPhone. Since my Blackberry never really synced right with my Macbook, I dont have a good way of getting my contacts on my new iPhone. ApetDiubon 12-24-2011, 10:49 PM A few months ago I switched from my beloved and battered Blackberry to an iPhone 3GS, mostly to compare the differences. I am not sure I have completely sorted out my views but here are my basic thoughts. The iPhone is more fun, much better for the Internet, better as an MP3 player, and has a wide range of really useful apps. Many of its features are really easy to use. By contrast the Blackberry was more limited, but much better at what it did. The battery life of the Blackberry was great, several days of normal use. The iPhone battery does last a full day of normal use although its normal use includes more uses. The Blackberry is much better for email, with its SMS system it does not need the Internet and means you are much less likely to run up a major bill whilst abroad. I found typing was much faster on the Blackberry, the Apples touch screen is not very forgiving to my fat fingers, whereas I had developed a two thumbs approach on the Blackberry that was both accurate and fast. So, will I be changing back to the Blackberry? No. If I have wi-fi access the iPhones internet is just too much better. Tweetdeck on the iPhone is a much better way of working with Twitter. And, I am listening to many more audio books and podcasts than before. ApetDiubon 01-03-2012, 10:27 AM I have the Otterbox Defender as well, but I knocked out the plastic screen in front since it was affecting the touch sensitivity. I recommend it; keeps your iPhone very safe from drops, and as clumsy as I am this happens a lot PDA Street
