iPAQ data loss

I took the battery out of my iPAQ h4100 and when battery was replaced it reset and I appear to have lost all data.

Is there any way to restore data, whatever the cost?

If you did not backup the data or synced it with a desktop, then unfortunately no, there is no way to restore the data.

That's why you should
store data you don't want to lose on a card or the iPAQ file store.

I keep my internal storage for apps and files I have on other cards and to copy files between cards.

It's too bad you didn't know that, my first time I had a feeling to back up and was curious, my iPAQ was new then so didn't have much of my data or much important data...
