I've finally narrowed me PDA search down to two units, including the Handera 330, but in all the searching I've done so far, I haven't seen anything describing the speed of the screen or the general response time of the unit.
I notice that on some PDAs the LCD can have a fading/ghosting effect when text changes, but on others (particularly the more recent color models) this doesn't happen. What is the Handera 330 like in this regard? I really like the screens that update quickly. Some of this might simply be due to processor speed but I think some mono/grayscale screens themselves have this effect.
Also: what's the general "response time" of the H330 for switching/loading screens? Again on some older models like the Clie SJ10 and SJ20, the performance appears sluggish compared to the more instantaneous feel of newer ones like the SJ30, Tungsten, etc. Obviously we're talking different CPU speeds, but even then, where does the Handera 330 fit in? I know it has a 33 MHz processor but that doesn't bother me as long as it actually APPEARS to switch contexts quickly.
Lastly, can anyone point me to some examples of displaying photos (JPGs) on the unit via something like jpgview? I'm interested in storing lots of photos on it despite the 16-shade screen, but I haven't seen many examples of how bad this would actually look. Real screen shots would be great -- anyone got a digicam and an H330 they could use to send me some examples?
Thanks,
