xda 11i/htc alpine need help

i have just bought a xda 2i off of ebay. For the first 2 days everything seemed fine. I put some programmes on and some games and they worked then a few days later windows mobile was messed up and all i could do was view settings wherever i clicked on the screen. So i reset the thing and it went onto windows mobile 'get started' screen and then onto align screen i click on the markers and after one cycle if dots it flickers like it has worked and then it goes back to align screen again. From here i cant move on. Could someone please help me and come up with some solutions. Much appreciated.

Are you using screen protector on this? If you do, try removing it and repeat.

it has no screen protectors I think its a problem with the OS.

It could be hardware, screen problem is not that uncommon, try running a business card along the edge of the screen, sometime that can fix screen problem.
