Having bought *two* Gold Cards in the hope of being able to connect my 7Book to my wired network at home, I'm still very little further forward. The first Gold Card, a V34 + fax + ethernet, came with dongles for both phone line and ethernet connections, but the 7Book won't talk to it :(. The second Gold Card, a 56K + Fax WAN Global PC Card, came with no dongle, and (of course) the connector for the dongle is *different* from the connector on the V34 + fax + ethernet card. In fact, on closer investigation it seems that the card doesn't have an ethernet capability, despite being listed by the seller as "Gold Card 56k + 10/100 Ethernet LAN Global Combine iT PCMCIA".
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a Psion Gold Card with ethernet capability *with dongle* to use in my 7Book? According to the EPOC FAQ web site (a very useful resource, thanks, Ian) the only cards which would have any chance of working are the Psion CombineIT gold card v.90 56K + 10/100 Ethernet and the Psion Dacom NETGlobal 56k+fax+10/100 Ethernet (the Psion CombineIT gold card LANGlobal 10/100 Ethernet seems to work only in the original Netbook).
Thanks in advance for any help.
Ian
