What is the best way to run applications off the memory stick as if they were on ram?

I know of three options:
1) MSMount (Freeware, but copies whole program to internal memory before launching)
2) PiDirect II - Runs programs directly from MS (databases have to be read-only); loads only actual needed records to internal memory; works fine for me, but program is quite expensive (~$30)
3) MegaLauncher - I have no personal experience with this program
I use PiDirect II (I needed an option to keep the photos of my people on MS and still use them in the adress book) and up to now it works quite fine. Although it's a bit expensive it does exactly what I expected it to do. Without it my 128MB MS would be more or less useless...
