can i stop this?

when my phone was running windows mobile 5.0 and i hadnt touched it for a while the screen would just dim until i touched it again now that i have upgraded to windows mobile 6.1 the screen shuts off and i have to hit the power button to turn it back on. why is this? are there any settings i can change to fix this, cause ive looked and i have looked in the backlight settings as well....

Start - Settings - Power - Advanced tab - uncheck Turn off device if not use for ... (or increase the time) for both battery power and external power.
