aol on 2002 OS

I just ordered the Axim from Dell. I have heard that AOL wont work with the newest operating system? Can anyone tell me more about that? Thanks

AOL is just way behind. At this point they don't want to make the investment to make the changes they say are needed in their "system" to allow PC 2002 to work. They also charge $19.95 for software compatable with PPC 2000 (who ever heard of an IP charging for access software) I have the AOL mail program installed on my Jornada 568 and it works fine with my 802.11b but does not recognize a modem. I also can not enter the AOL.com site with my screen name/password when browsing the web with 802.11b although I can browse other sites just fine using a proxy on my AOL DSL
