So, I got my HBH30 headset paired to my T68, and my T68 paired to my TT. Everything's pretty cool: I can surf via GPRS using T-Mobile, I can use my TT to dial a number on my T68, and I can pickup the call on my HBH-30.
Here's my problem:
If I dial from my phone, it automatically transfers the call to my HBH-30 headset. But, if I use my TT to dial, the call isn't automatically transferred. I must manually press the connect button on my headset. When I do that, most of the time it connects to the phone and transfers the call after beeping a few times, but sometimes it doesn't connect at all.
The correct behavior should be: TT causes phone to dial. Phone transfers the call automatically to the HBH-30.
I think this is a firmware timing issue on my phone. The TT connection isn't closed in time to open the headset connection.
So my question is this:
Is anyone getting the correct behavior with the above mix of devices? My T68M is on firmware revision R2D.
How about a T68i? Anybody using a T68i/HBH30/TT combination and experiencing the correct behavior? I am tempted to have my phone upgraded to the T68i revision to see if it fixes it or not, but I'd like to be sure.
