Having problems with IPAQ 210 and Vista syncing Contacts and Calendar and data such as notes
removed Mobil Device center version 6.1 and installed a new version 6.1, but no luck. Windows mobil indicates it is syncing to my PDA but there is no syncing taking place
Thank you in advance

Several things you can check and try;
- soft reset the iPAQ and re-start the desktop.
- follow steps on this tutorial
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-center-sync-outlook.mspx
- make sure you select all the items you want to sync on both desktop and iPAQ and check if it is configured to sync older items as well.
- Start - Settings - Connections - USB to PC , change Enable advanced network functionality setting.

Hello thanks for your answer. I followed the tutorial all day but no help.
I do not know what you mean by
Start - Settings - Connections - USB to PC , change Enable advanced network functionality setting.
However I have attached 2 pix. One indicates that somehow my Media Player is involved. Because my Windows mobil device center indicates that I am syncing but nothing is happening on my PDA. I am sure I have 1 or 2 conflicts somewhere but I dont know how to correct them especially the Windows Media player
Thank you Karl

What exactly you are experiencing that make you think that something is not correct? From the attached images, I don't see anything wrong with it at all. You should change the calendar setting to sync all, not just the past 2 weeks. And the media player sync, just choose where you want it to sync to on the iPAQ.
As for Enable advanced network functionality, simply click Start button on the iPAQ and follow the steps mentioed.
