I have built a DIY wideband oxygen sensor kit and it has a feature that outputs data to a palm device. So I will be able to use my clie to log my air/fuel ratios. However, I can not get it to work.

The output terminates at a DB9 connector. I plugged this into my computer's serial port and it showed the air fuel ration on my desktop. But I use my serial clie hotsync cable and no go.

Am I using the right cable. Is there other types of cables? I have seen some websites that sell clie modem cables that terminate in a db9 connector. Is that the one i need?

Also, does anybody know the pinouts for these cables? The only two live pins from the wideband is pin 2 - data and pin 5 ground.

Here is a link for the wideband kit if anybody is intrested.
