Can someone tell me the differences between the 2 products? I need something that allows me to keep ALL my appointments on the iPaq. I don't want them deleted after a month or so.
Thanks in advance
Outlook doesn't delete your appointments, it just displays however many days backward you have specified on the desktop Outlook app. I made mine show the past year and it works fine.
I tried Pocket Informant, and it has lots of fans, but it was so slow on my 3845 I kept thinking the PPC had frozen up. Tried and bought Agenda Fusion and it works flawlessly.
Compare their websites but they seem knockoffs of each other so I use the one that worked problem free on my iPAQ.

Hi,
I have a IPAQ 3955 now. I had to exchange in my Jornada 568 when the device crashed and would not start up after I tried to uninstall the evaluation version of the pocket informant, prior to its expiration.
I must say that this software has some unresolved issues. Though I have not tried the agenda fusion, I have heard good reports on it.
I do not know if the dashboard for the IPAQ will work on your version but it is an alternate enhancement you could give a run. I think it is free from Compaq. The Dashboard is a skinnable enhancement of the Today screen and allows you multiple configurable views of the calendar, tasks, e-mail, addressbook and more.
Good luck.
Watch out for the version of Dashboard that comes with the 3800 series of iPAQs. It's a data-loss hard-crash system stopper.
Not to excuse Compaq for releasing crash-ware but they are very aware of it. Once product is shipped out there's no way to warn future customers.
There is a fix at the iPAQ website for the OEM version of Dashboard or one can buy the latest version from the developer which is said to work fine. I think it's at www.snoopsoft.com or check the software sites like www.handango.com.
